Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Crushyt is a mobile game that takes place in the roman era. You’ll be able to explore this world using your real-world location and interacting with augmented reality elements: mines, chests, shrines and animals. You’ll need to hunt animals to feed your troops, earn elixir in chests and dig gold in mines.

You’ll start with a troop of gladiators, hunters, miners and explorers. With time you will enhance your troops and get stronger. Your Gladiators can battle with other players to win Crushyt Points (CP) and enter the scoreboards. Any other action you do, will earn you XP (Experience Points), that allows you to level up.

This world is set for you to explore, but if you don’t feel in the mood for walking, you can send hunters/miners/explorers on your behalf to gather resources. This will cost elixir and consume time and they won’t be available to perform other actions. If you are in the mood of walking, the App will track the miles you walk and will give you elixir, that is needed for the remote actions.

This is a game of real-time strategy, where you’ll have to construct a strong set of cards and manage resources (gold, diamonds, food, elixir). You should use them wisely to make progress in the game and to conquer a higher status.

The goal of this game is to build a solid deck of cards, with strong gladiators and special powers. With a robust deck, you can play against other players in tournaments. You will also be able to improve your status, if you conquer a castle, which are placed in strategic points in the map. To do this, you’ll need to level up, by keeping a recurring activity in the game. While you don’t participate in tournaments, you should win Crushyt Points in battles, either by attacking other players or defending from incoming attacks. Curious about your ranking in the game? Check your standings in the Leaderboard (Scores).

The reasons to play this game is for pure entertainment. You can have the same fun you had when you were outside playing other map-based games, though in this game if it’s raining or you’re not in the mood for walking, you can send some of your troops (hunter, miners and explorers) to do the actions on the map for you. That’s a cool thing.

In this game, you can play real-time strategy and combat against other players. Actions happen in the world map and take real time, so your decisions need to be well thought.

Finally, if you like card-collecting games, you’ll have the opportunity to build a strong deck of cards to play in tournament competitions. There is room for sponsoring some of these tournaments, so you will have an extra reason to evolve and be a stronger player on Crushyt.

This game does not require long sessions of gameplay hours. By the opposite. You can spend some minutes per session to do some actions in the game, being compatible with casual gaming during the day. Finally, the game is equipped with support for Augmented Reality, which is always a fun experience, as long as you make sure you are in a safe place.

The game features a collection of quests to help you get around the game basics. Although we have a lot of information in these FAQs, the best way to know more is by playing every day and discuss with your friends.

The main resources are food, elixir, gold and diamonds. Your army needs food to survive and elixir to perform actions, so be sure to always have enough resources to sustain your troops. To win resources you’ll have to complete actions, like: hunting, mining, exploring chests and visiting shrines.

There are three main aspects of progress in the game:

  • XP (Experience Points) – Level up by completing activities in the map;
  • CP (Crushyt Points) – You can win by battling other players;
  • Achievements – earn Badges by completing relevant actions in the game.

Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience using technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on the phone camera, providing a composite view, with which you can interact.

You are not required to play in AR mode, you can turn it off.

You can have the following experiences using AR: customize your avatar, hunting animals, digging gold in the mines, exploring the chests or visiting Shrines. All these experiences happen inside the Map.

You can use AR on the following actions:

  • Customize your avatar – in the Map, click on your avatar, then click CUSTOMIZE. To see your Dominus avatar in AR, click the AR toggle button at the top of the screen;
  • Animals, Mines, Chests and Shrines - you need to be nearby the markers that are underlined in blue colour. Press the marker and confirm the action, activate the AR button toggle on the top of the screen;
  • Your camera will show up your environment. Point the camera to a surface to find a flat area. Once you did that, you can place the AR object. When the objects show up, scale up or down to better adapt the size. At any time, you can turn off the AR and play without augmented reality.

You will learn the basics of Crushyt in the first game sessions, but as you continue to play and experiment different decks and strategies, you’ll master it.

Some initial tips include increasing the number of cards in your deck. Also, be sure to have special cards, like Boosters and Healing cards to improve the attack power or to heal your troops after they return from combats. Stock up with Resurrect cards to revive cards. Also, don’t forget to be equipped with Shield Cards, to protect your basecamp from incoming attacks.

MAP

A Basecamp is the staging area where you keep your troops, resources and badges. All the actions you do with your troops will start from the basecamp’s location. You have to select a place to install your basecamp at the beginning of the place. You can move it to another location, later on, by using a special card.

No, you need to always have a Basecamp.

Yes, you can use the card “Movere Domus” and choose another location for your basecamp.

You’ll be able to hunt animals, mine for gold, explore chests, visit Shrines, and solve quests on the map. These actions will give you XP.

You have to hunt animals in the map. Either you walk and get near the animals (underlined in blue colour); or if you are not in the mood of walking, you can browse the map and send hunters on your behalf. Different animals will give you different amounts of food.

You can also get food in the daily visit rewards, by earning badges or level-up. If you have gold you can also purchase food in the market.

Currently there are boars, rabbits, deer’s and bears. In the future, other types of animals will show up in the map.

The amount of food you will get will be the following:

  • If you hunt the animal yourself, the amount of food you get depends on the animal type: rabbits will give less food; wild boars and dears give you more than rabbits, bears will give you more than all the others;
  • If you send an hunter(s), the amount of food will depend on the Load Capacity (LD) of the hunter(s).

Once you hunted an animal nearby you need to wait a certain amount of time to hunt again, in case there are more similar animals in the same location. This is the “cooldown period” of the animal.

You can earn elixir in different ways: by opening chests on map, visiting shrines, daily visits to the App, completing badges, level-up or if you walk while using the App (active or in the background). If you have gold you can also purchase elixir in the market.

You can get gold in the mines. Either you go there by yourself or you send a miner to do the job for you. You can also get gold by other ways: by winning combats against other players, visiting shrines, open chests, when you get a badge or when you do daily visits to the App. You can also purchase gold in the map, by using diamonds.

Once you visited a mine nearby you need to wait a certain amount of time to enter the mine again. This is the “cooldown period” of the mine.

Diamonds are a rare resource, so use them wisely. You can win diamonds when you get some badges. You will always be able to purchase diamonds in the market.

Inside the chests you can either find elixir or gold. The amount is random.

From Map view you’ll be able to easily access:

  • Ongoing actions: check your current actions in the map;
  • Ongoing combats: features all combats at the moment;
  • Back to Main menu;
  • Ongoing quests: shows all current quests and their status;
  • Search: allows you to search Friends or specific locations.

These 3 icons perform the following actions:

  • Center: bring the map view to your location;
  • Compass: show the north compass;
  • Basecamp: go to your basecamp.

You can search your Friends or specific locations by clicking the icon SEARCH, on the bottom-left Menu Bar.

Your hunter will require time to travel between your basecamp and the animal. The distance will be a minimum of 1 minute plus the time to travel 150 km per hour. As an example, if you are located 150 km far from the animal, your hunter will take 1:01 to perform the action.

Your miner will require time to travel between your basecamp and the mine. The distance will be a minimum of 1 minute plus the time to travel 150 km per hour. As an example, if you are located 150 km far from the mine, your miner will take 1:01 to perform the action.

Your explorer will require time to travel between your basecamp and the chest. The distance will be a minimum of 1 minute plus the time to travel 150 km per hour. As an example, if you are located 150 km far from the chest, your explorer will take 1:01 to perform the action.

If you send a hunter/miner/explorer to a remote marker you will spend a certain amount of elixir: the elixir that shows up in the back of each card plus the elixir for distance travel (1 elixir per 100kms).

You can configure your Dominus in the map, by clicking on avatar and the CUSTOMIZE button. You can select the gender, body type, hair, clothes and weapons of your choice. See your Dominus in AR mode by activating the toggle on the top. Once you have configured your avatar, you’ll be able to share it with your friends. Your customized avatar will be updated in the map.

Shrines are sacred places: you need to swipe the pieces to the right combination to open the shrine. You can win gold, elixir and cards. There are 3 types of Shrines: Lion, Harpy and Dragon.

When you visit a shrine you need to wait a certain amount of hours to visit again. This is called the “cooldown period” of a shrine.

Arenas are places in the map where tournaments will take place. You should select a deck of gladiator cards and special cards, to enter a tournament. Over you will combat with random players. Between combats you can refine your strategy and use special cards, such as healing or boosting potions. The winner of the tournament will be elected to win some rewards.

Castles are placed in relevant locations in the world map. Once you increase your rank and your level you will be able to compete for the ownership of a castle. If you manage to win a castle, you no longer need to live in a basecamp; you will be the landlord of the castle and your status will be higher in the eyes of other players. Be prepared though, other players will also compete to the ownership of the castle.

Once you made it you can collect the gold.

Find a flat area with your camera. You will see a mosaic pattern that you can tap to place the chest. Tap the key of the chest to open it . You have 60 seconds to complete this activity. Then collect your rewards.

Hiding a card in an attack means your enemy won’t be able to guess the card, unless you spend some gold to reveal the cards.

Yes, you’ll spend 20 gold to hide a card.

Yes, you’ll spend 20 gold to unhide a card.

You should always try to defend from incoming attacks. If you don’t defend you will lose CP and gold. A way to protect from incoming attacks is by setting up a SHIELD card.

When you are notified of an incoming attack, you’ll have at least a period of 8 hours to defend from an attack, plus the travel time. Travel time is calculated by the distance between the two player’s basecamps multiplied by 300km per hour. So, if two players are distant 600km from each other, the attack will take 10 hours.

You can activate the shield directly on your Profile. You have a shield icon right below the level. Alternatively, you can go to your basecamp in the map, and you have a direct icon to activate the shield.

You have shield cards of different durations:

  • 8 hours;
  • 1 day;
  • 2 days;
  • 1 week;
  • 5 attacks.

You need to apply a resurrect card to revive a dead gladiator card within 24 hours or you’ll lose the dead card.

You go to the skeleton card (in your Army view), press the card, and you have a RESURRECT button.

You can increase the HP by using one Healing card. Select the gladiator you want to heal, click the left bottom icon “…” and press the HEAL button. Choose the healing card and confirm.

You can increase the AP of your Gladiator by using a Booster card. Select the gladiator you want to boost, click the left bottom icon “…” and press the BOOST button. Choose the booster card and confirm.

First and foremost: AP of gladiator A will decrease the HP of gladiator B, and vice-versa. The result of the fight will be calculated as follows: If AP from gladiator A is higher than AP from gladiator B, player A wins that fight, as long as the HP of gladiator A does not go to zero. The same applies on the other side. If both cards die (HP goes to zero) that fight will be a draw. There could be also a draw if both gladiators have the same AP and they don’t die in the fight.

CP points will be the overall result of up to 5 fights between the cards of each player.
Each fight won gives the player 1 CP; each fight lost subtracts 1 CP.
For instance, if player A wins 4 of the fights and looses 1 she will receive 3 CP.
The outcome of the combat can be a number between -5 and +5.

Yes, if you lose a combat, your CP Points will be decreased by the outcome of the combat (-1 to -5).

If you win a combat you will get CP points and an amount of gold. The outcome of the CP in a combat can be a number between -5 and +5. The amount of gold is multiplied by 30. As an example, if the outcome of a combat was +3, you will receive 3 CPs and 60 of gold.

When there is a draw, none of the players will receive CP points. The outcome will zero for both.

Every gladiator card has two attributes: Attack Power (AP) and Hit Points (HP). AP defines the strength of the gladiator. HP defines the health of the gladiator, representing its health. If a gladiator A fights with gladiator B, the HP of A will be decreased by the AP value of B, and vice-versa. If the HP of any card gets to zero or below zero, the card is dead and will show up as a skeleton. You need to apply a resurrect card to revive a dead gladiator card.

STEP 2: Check that your device is allowing In-App purchases.

In iOS: Go to "Settings"; "General”;” “Restrictions". You will see a section called "Allowed Content". Look for “In-App purchases" and make sure it is set to "ON". Try your purchase again.

In Android: Open the Google Play Store on your device, tap the menu on the left side of the search bar. Scroll down to Settings. Select the Require Authentication for Purchases option. Ensure the first option, indicating all purchases, is selected.

Check your order history in your store. Sometimes purchases take a while to process and do not get delivered immediately. You may want to restart the App to enable a fresh connection to the server. If the items you have purchased do not arrive within 24 hours, please, contact us.
